      • Chairperson:

My name is Nicole Rutt-Livgard. I live in Andover with my husband Jon and our two kids, Luke and Piper. Luke is going into fourth grade at Crooked Lake this Fall and Piper is going into second.

I have worked for the Anoka-Hennepin School District for the last 12 years in the Application and Connection Services Department. Prior to that, I worked for the Roseville School District for 7 years in the Enrollment Center and the Transportation Department. I have served on the Association Board of the Office Professionals Association for 8 years, as a Representative for 5 years and the Secretary for 3 years.
I LOVE being a mom! I love reading, coffee, Harry Potter, going to the movies, and going to our cabin.

I am super excited to be the Crooked Lake PTO Chair this year after serving as the Co-Chair last year and the Secretary the year before that. I have built a great relationship with the staff at Crooked Lake through my job in the district office and my time on the board last two years. I love being more involved as a member of the PTO Board and getting to put on such fun events for the whole community! I look forward to serving the students, parents, and staff at Crooked Lake by sharing my skill set and doing what I can to make this a great school year for all!

        Co-Chair:

My name is Beth Emmel and I am so excited to be joining the PTO board this year as the co-chair. I live in Ramsey with my boyfriend, Jonathan and daughter Elliana (Ellie) who is going to be a 1st grader this year! I own a graphic design company, Underdog Digital Design Co. and love what I do! I also coach varsity girls' basketball and was at Fridley High School for the last 5 years, but I am excited to be transferring to DeLaSalle High School this year. We typically stay pretty busy during the year with coaching basketball and Ellie's basketball. Ellie will also be starting dance this Fall with Just for Kix! Outside of that, we love to go on family adventures, travel, play board games and spend time together. I am very grateful to have such an awesome school, staff and community to be a part of here at Crooked Lake. I can't wait to help this amazing group and school have another great year!

        Treasurer:

My name is Sandra Anderson and I live in Andover with my husband Josh, our two kids, Aubrey and Zachary, and our 2 dogs, Bella and Cashew. Aubrey is entering into 5th grade and Zachary will be entering into 2nd grade. I work for Huntington National Bank as a Business Analyst in the Asset Finance segment. I have had various roles within my 15 years at the bank. While I am not working, you can find me running kids to and from their various activities and volunteering for CLPTO. In the rare event that I have some down time, I enjoy reading, movie nights with the family, taking trips to the North Shore and listening to Podcasts. This will be my 4th year volunteering with the PTO as your Treasurer. I truly enjoy the role and find it fun using my professional skill set to help make a difference. I love the Crooked Lake community and could not ask for a better group of staff, teachers, and parents to partner with to make the school events enjoyable for all. I am looking forward to another great school year!!!

        Co-Treasurer:

Hello! My name is Jonathan Conyers. I'm 27 years old, and I will be the Co-Treasurer this upcoming school year! I live in Ramsey with my girlfriend Beth (also on the PTO Board), and her daughter Ellie who will be a 1st grader this school year! I work full time as a Logistics Broker at DestiNATION Transport, located in Osseo. My hobbies include playing/coaching basketball, wiffleball, going on walks with the girls, and whatever games/dress ups Ellie makes me do. I love sports, specifically the Vikings, Timberwolves, Twins, Oklahoma Sooners Football, and Liverpool Soccer! I also really love my family! I'm excited for PTO this year, because it's going to be awesome giving back to the school and community. PTO is a great way to stay connected with school events, staff members, and meeting new parents! Can't wait to help make this an awesome school year!

        Secretary:

My name is Katie Coulter. I live in Andover with my husband Gene and our 2 boys, Isaac and Eric. Isaac will be in 4th Grade and Eric will be in 2nd grade. I have been a stay at home mom since the day Isaac was born.

I started to be a substitute para/secretary for A-H District in January 2024. I started as a Secretary at Compass Programs at Bell Center this fall.  I have been a PTO attendee for the past 2 years at Crooked Lake and the other schools the kids have been in that they were out of state. I love to volunteer at Crooked Lake Elementary as well. I have volunteered the past 2 years in the lunchroom, workroom for the teachers or anyone that asks (usually unless I don't have time at the moment) and field trips. I have built a great relationship with the staff and students that I have worked with. It brings me great joy to see how my impact has helped these kids and staff. The staff makes you feel like you are a part of the community and family.

My kids keep me busy with hockey and karate. I love to hang out with family and friends. I also like to embroider, quilt, go to the movies, and do some crafting on my cricut when I am able to.

        Co-Secretary:

Hello!  My name is Nicole Schuman.  I live in Andover with my husband, Aaron, my daughter Natalie, my son Dakota, our dog, Lexi and can't forget our fish, Pinkey.  Natalie is going into 3rd grade this year and Dakota is going into Kindergarten, and both attend Crooked Lake.

I have been a registered nurse for 12 year and currently work with Allina at the Coon Rapids Clinic.  I have been at the clinic for about 2.5 years.  Prior to that I worked for Pediatric Home Service and worked in multiple positions including, fields nurse, preceptor, triage nurse, nurse supervisor and skilled nursing manager.  I spent about 10 years there!  I love what I do! In my free time I love being a mom, spending time with family, reading or listening to audiobooks, going to the gym (if you haven't tried WERQ or SHINE dance fitness I highly recommend it!) and spending time with friends.  The kids activities also keep me busy!  Natalie is in competition dance at Dance Revue and Dakota plays baseball with CRALL.  I am excited to join the Crooked Lake PTO this year as the Co-Secretary!  I love all the activities and the community at crooked lake and can't wait to be involved in the planning and execution of these events.  I look forward to establishing relationships with more families and staff this year!

        Board Members at Large:

        My fam

My name is Angie Siddons, and I live in Andover with my husband, Jeremy, our son, Quinton, our daughter, Addelynn, and a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, fish, and a hamster. Quinton is in 7th grade at Anoka Middle School, and Addie is soaring into her final year in 5th grade.

I work full-time as the clinic manager of a private optometry practice in Blaine.

My kids keep me busy with baseball, dance classes, and other activities. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, catching up on my favorite shows, spending time at our family cabins, shopping at craft shows, and playing bar trivia with friends. In between all of that, I love volunteering at Crooked Lake with the PTO.

I've been on the PTO board for the past seven years and have enjoyed planning and volunteering at the great events we host for our students and families, as well as helping with school fundraising. My kids love volunteering alongside us and seeing how their efforts help their school and friends. As I enter my final year with the PTO, I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience with our new board members so they can carry on our traditions as I phase out next year. I've had the opportunity to build wonderful relationships with staff and families and will cherish every moment of this last year at Crooked Lake.

My name is Jen Melsha and I live in Coon Rapids with my husband Jon and our 5 children; Izzy (17), Jax (16), Jamison (13), Paislee (11) and Austin (10). Paislee entered 6th grade and Austin 5th. This is my 12th year having a student at Crooked Lake and I couldn't ask for a better school! I work as the Director of Condominiums for a property management company and have been doing property management for over 8 years. While I am not working, you will typically find me rushing around to a sport of some sort for the family. We currently have fast pitch softball, slow pitch softball, football, wrestling and dance going on. Keeps me busy to say the least. When I can steal a few moments for myself, I enjoy crafting, listening to true crime podcasts and spending time with other adults. Volunteering at Crooked Lake over the years has been so rewarding. I have so many great memories of field trips, classroom parties, picture days, year-end parties, book fairs, ski trips and my personal favorite, Long Lake. I look forward to an amazing year and continuing my journey with Crooked Lake as I enter my second year of serving on the PTO board.

Hi there! I'm Danielle, proud mom to Hailey (12th grade), Alex (7th grade), Charlotte (4th grade), and Ryzun (Kindergarten). This marks our 12th year with a child at Crooked Lake. My

husband and I are both Minnesota natives, and while we love to travel, there's truly no other place we'd rather raise our family.

A few fun facts about us: This summer, we took on the adventure of a lifetime—13 days on the road with five kids, exploring the Redwoods. It was CRAZY fun!

We’re also passionate foster parents, now in our 6th year with Anoka County. We have a heart for families and feel incredibly blessed to support those who come through our home.

Oh, and if you ever want to find us, we’re probably at a diner—breakfast beats a fancy dinner any day!
