Who takes this test?
The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a standardized test administered by the College Board and cosponsored by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) in the United States.
How is this test administered?
This test is a paper and pencil test that takes 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete. The test consists of Evidence-Based Reading (60 minutes), Writing and Language (35 minutes) and Math (25 minutes with no calculator and 45 minutes with a calculator)
What do the scores mean?
The highest score possible on the PSAT is 1520.
