18-21 Year Old Transition ProgramsSome students may need more time to complete the requirements for a high school diploma or learn the skills necessary for employment and adulthood. Anoka Hennepin Schools offers three programs for students who are 18-21 years old based on their individual needs. Please talk with your student's case manager about whether these programs would be appropriate for your student.Bridges is a special education program designed for students with developmental disabilities who are between the ages of 18 and 21. Bridges programming offers functional and vocational focus on the acquisition of skills necessary for increased independence in the community and rewarding employment opportunities.Pathways is a special education program designed to offer life skills and vocational training. Its purpose is to assist students in gaining the skills necessary for independence within the communityAnoka Hennepin Technical High School is for students who are past their graduation date, but are interested in completing their requirements for graduation. We follow all of Anoka-Hennepin curriculum and award a high school diploma upon successful completion of the graduation requirements.
