This program is available to all students at Blaine High School Monday-Thursday from 2:30-4:00 in the Social Studies Resource Center. Students must sign up in the SSRC by 2:30 and indicate what they will be studying that day. Peer tutors will be available to help students if they need support. A snack is provided at 3:30, and an activity is planned from 4:00-5:00. An activity bus is available to take students home at 5:00 PM.
All students at Blaine High School can use the computers and printers as well as receive support from staff to complete writing assignments. The Writing Lab is open after the 1st Progress Reporting period each trimester on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:30-4:00 in the Language Arts Resource Center (LARC). A snack is provided at 3:30 and an activity is planned from 4:00-5:00. An activity bus is available to take students home at 5:00 PM.
Resource Rooms for students with special needs:
Options (Room 136A) is available during the school day for students whose IEPs indicate a need for emotional or behavioral support
Academic Support (Room 258) is available during the school day for students whose IEPs indicate a need academic support
Autism Resource Room (Room 140) is available for students with Autism whose IEPs indicate a need for support.
