What exactly is a makerspace? A makerspace is a place where students can work on projects by themselves or with others, sharing ideas and similar interests, equipment and technology.

Anoka High School's makerspace is located within the library.  Students have the opportunity to use the makerspace with their classes or as an individual driven to develop new skills. In conjunction with a flexible learning space for classes, the makerspace provides workspaces and learning opportunities for people to explore and develop the following skills:

    • 3D Printing
    • Laser Cutting/Etching
    • Robotics
    • Textiles
    • Audio Recording
    • Digital Video Production
    • Digital Visual Arts
    • Vinyl and Sheet Cutting
