Applying to College

How to Apply to College

1. Complete the application online through the college website,  Scoir or through the Common App.
2. Send your transcript.  
3. Send other supporting documents including ACT score, letters of recommendation, and/or an essay.  Some of this may be optional. 
4. Complete the FAFSA.
5. Check your email and wait to hear from the college. Do not miss this step.

• The Common Application

  • Remember that many schools DO NOT require the Common Application. Only complete this application IF multiple schools you are applying to accept the CA.
  • Follow this process linked here. 
  • Email your counselor to let him/her know you are completing the Common App.
