Earning College Credit in High School
Earning college credit while in high school is a great way for students to save money on future education expenses. STEP offers a wide range of options for students. This site helps to outline the options available.
Articulated Credit (AC)
Those in grades 10, 11, or 12 can earn technical or community college credits for courses completed in high school. Stay in your own high school with your friends and the teachers you already know. Explore career opportunities through high school courses while completing college sooner, saving both time and money.
Concurrent Enrollment
Through partnerships with the University of Minnesota, Anoka Ramsey Community College, and Anoka Technical College, STEP offers college credit courses. Courses are taught during the regular school day by high school instructors who are selected and supported by university faculty. The courses are identical to the college's on-campus courses.
Families should use the Registration Guide for more information.
