• Assistive Technology

Assistive Technology is any tool that you would use with a student to help them access typical classroom activities or curriculum.  Many people know that high-tech devices such as Augmentative Communication devices or computers fall into the category of Assistive Technology.  Low tech solutions can also fall into the category of Assistive Technology.  This can include things as simple as a pencil grip, raised line paper, or modified eating utensils.

This area is designed to give staff more information regarding Assistive Technology and how to consider, trial, acquire and use Assistive Technology tools.
