The Insurance department manages all employee benefits, including health and hospitalization, dental, group term life, long-term disability, health care and dependent care spending accounts, supplemental term life, worker's compensation, 403(b) plans, sick leave, and retirement benefits.

Labor Relations and Benefits negotiates and administers collective bargaining agreements for 13 bargaining units and four policy groups, covering approximately 8,000 employees at Anoka-Hennepin. This includes overseeing compensation and benefits.
