Jan 5: specialized cells slides, review of cells covered so far
Jan 6: cells quiz 2 , read in your textbook pages 73-78
Jan 7: mitosis slides, cell division and the cell cycle video, make a mitosis notecard
Jan 8: mitosis video, mitosis worksheet questions 1-8 on mitosis do not turn in worksheet yet.
Jan 9: google 10 animals and record how many chromosomes they have . Put it in your notebook. Redraw the mitosis model in your notebook. Come back and share last 10 minutes of class.
Jan. 13: start meiosis slides, meiosis video, make a meiosis notecard
Jan 14: draw meiosis model in your notebook, meiosis questions on worksheet 9, 10. Turn it in for 10 pts. Review what is o nquiz tomorrow. Reread for yourself pages 73-78 of textbook
Jan 15: mitosis, meiosis quiz 15 pts. read 102-107 in textbook
Jan 19: genetics introduction video 3 min. , start genetics packet pages 1-4 have highlighter ready.
Jan 20: page 5 Mendel's Law #3, video on Mendel (5 min), page 6 together in packet. Read outloud from textbook pages 111,113; show how to do punnet square problems on page 7; start the reading checkup questions on page 8 only
Jan. 21: finish reading checkup questions from page 9, do problems on pages 9, 10,11. Short video on punnet square review
Jan. 22: correct the reading checkup questions and record grade. Go over the answers for pages 9-11-record grade. Do page 12 on own
Jan. 26: Go over page 12 answers , purple sheet practice punnett squares questions
Jan. 27: monster mash activity with a partner in breakout rooms or alone
Jan 28: continue on lab and answer questions. Start drawing your monster
Jan. 29. monster mash lab due today 100 pts, start Dog's Decoded video with questions
Feb. 2: finish dog's decoded and finish questions. Turn it in.
