    Growing up in Coon Rapids, I am happy to work in the Anoka-Hennepin School District, a district I am familiar with and love. I graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 2000, then went to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, majoring in Elementary Education, and minoring in Mathematics, and History.  In the fall of 2005, I started working at Oak View Middle School.  Working with middle school students is such a fun endeavor; they make me smile and laugh everyday! 
     
    Outside of the school day, you'll find me running my daughters, Mara (8) and Maggie (4), to their activities.
