Coon Rapids Middle School

Welcome to Coon Rapids Middle School Health 6 and Health 8!

I am entering my 2^nd year teaching Health. This is my first-year teaching in the Anoka Hennepin School District and first-year at CRMS.

I am not stranger to AH as I graduated from Champling Park in 2008. I attended the University of Minnesota Morris (UMM) where I majored in Sports Management and played volleyball for four years. After exhausting my athletic elligiblity I transfered colleges and switched majors.  I transfered to Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) where I majored in Health Education, Physical Education, and Exercise Science. I minored in Coaching and Strength and Conditioning in 2014 & 2018. I went back to earn my master’s in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Higher Education from MSUM in 2016. 

I currently teach 6th and 8th grade Health at CRMS. I am a varsity assistant volleyball coach at Champlin Park High School for my 2^nd season. In my spare time I love to spending weekends at the cabin; boating, ice fishing and hunting. I have a 2 year old puppy named Maverick.
