Andover High School

I have taught English for 16 years, and I am excited for another year at Andover High School. After starting my teaching career in Colorado, my wife and I moved from Denver to Minnesota in order to be closer to our families. We have been married since January, 2013. 

 

I grew up in North Dakota and attended Dickinson State University. I went on to earn my Masters Degree at the University of Colorado in Boulder before becoming a a National Board Certified teacher in 2011.

   

I have a background in theater. In addition to acting and directing I have also written a few plays including an adaptation of Rappaccini's Daughter which was first staged in the fall of 2009.   I also enjoy playing the guitar.
