Welcome to Science Class!!!

I am excited to be starting my second year at Andover High School and my 17th year of teaching high school science.  I spent the first six years of my career teaching/coaching in Colorado and the past 9 years teaching/coaching at Princeton High School.  While in Colorado, I also taught college biology and anatomy and physiology for Morgan Community College.  During my career I have taught all the science subject areas.  This year I will be teaching 9th grade Honors Physical Science A, Honors Physical Science B, Physical Science A, and Physical Science B.  I have a bachelors degree in Biology Secondary Education from the College of St. Scholatica and a Masters Degree from St Mary's University of Minnesota.

I have a passion for coaching.  I have coached both football and baseball at the varsity level for the last 17th years as both a head coach and assistant.  I have been coaching my son Bryson's football, baseball and wrestling team for the past 5 years.  I am the varsity running backs coach for Andover.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife Megan and our three children.  Mya will be in 9th grade this year, Bryson will be in 5th grade, and Ryder will be in 1st grade.  I enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, four-wheeling and watching my favorite sports team the Minnesota Vikings!
