• Hello! 
     
    My name is Mrs. Engebretson, the media specialist at Anoka High School. I have been teaching in the Anoka-Hennepin school district for 16 years. My journey began as an 8th grade global studies teacher, a position I loved for 11 years. My interest in literature and library media services led me to pursue a School Library Media Specialist license, and in 2015 I became the media specialist at Ramsey Elementary. The 2018-19 school year was my first at Anoka High School.
     
    I  am married and have three sons. I like to read, travel, hike, camp, and dabble in crafty things.

    • Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Education from the University of Minnesota Duluth
      • During my sophomore year in college I studied abroad in Birmingham, England.
      • I completed my student teaching at the British International School of Prague in the Czech Republic.
    • Master of Arts in Education from Hamline University
    • School Library Media Specialist license from St. Cloud State University
