• In Anoka-Hennepin, we offer focused support in numeracy (Add+Vantage Math Recovery) for our students. This begins with detailed assessments around Number Word Sequences, Numeral Identification and Ordering, Number Structure,Addition/Subtraction Strategies, Place Value and Multiplication/Division. After we assess the student's understanding of number sense topics through specific diagnostic assessments, we may determine that it would be helpful for the student to participate in short term, very focused small group instruction. These small groups generally run for about 10 sessions and are in addition to the regular math instruction.
