• Awards

Youth service work is rewarding for our students in many ways. Several local, statewide and national youth service awards recognize the amazing work of our students. Anoka-Hennepin School District participates in the following award programs:

    • President's Volunteer Service award: Granted to all students that meet the minimum service hour requirement.
    • Jefferson award/Students in Action: One award is given each month at each high school, based on nominations.
    • Lettering: Students may earn a high school letter in Service Club if requirements are met.

Service work at our high school gives students exposure to leadership skills while working collaboratively with other students, staff and community organizations. In addition, the experience will help students build a service transcript and work to include on future resumes.
