Advanced English Language Arts 6, 7, 8
- Same as 6, 7, 8 ELA with more challenging reading and writing expectations
- Additional emphasis on interpretive/analytical and critical/evaluative reading, writing and discussion
ELA Grade 6
- Read and describe characteristics of a variety of fiction and nonfiction informational texts, news, editorials, text features, and multiple resources
- Write frequently in a variety of forms
- Develop language skills including vocabulary, sentence structure, grammar and mechanics, summarizing, note taking, comparing, contrasting, and classifying
- Develop skills in speaking, listening, and media literacy
ELA Grade 7
