Welcome to Ms. Johnson's Web Page! 

Welcome to 7th and 8th grade Family and Consumer Science (FACS)! I have been teaching for 19 years and this is my 2nd year at Roosevelt Middle School. I am so very excited to be here and teaching middle school FACS. I have previously taught 18 years of high school FACS. I attended MN State University, Manakato for my undergraduate work and teaching degree. Then I earned my Master's Degree from St. Mary's University. I have earned various certifications through additional trainings such as Best Practices with Teaching ELL students, Pro-Start Certified teacher (culinary training), and serv-safe trained. 

I have a family that keeps me very busy with their many sports and activities, which I just love. You might find me at the hockey rink, ice skating rink, at swimming meets, pottery classes or a football field on the weekends depending what season and activity we are involved in at the time. Of course, one of my favorite things to do at home is to cook and bake with my children. One of our favorites is to make home-made pizzas, muffins, and cookies.
