Welcome to my classroom website
Go Cardinals! I graduated from Wittenberg University in 2014 with a major in biology and a minor in secondary education. I also hold a Master's of Education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathmatics Curriculum and Instruction. I have a passion for traveling and doing science research around the country. I have worked on several research projects including the Mars Sample Return Mission and lipid soil recovery techniques of Mars analog samples at NASA JPL in Los Angeles, California. Other research experiences on climate change with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Boulder, CO and bioremediation of toxic soil at the Pacific Northwest National Labratory in Richland, Washington have filled my summer months. In my free time, I do a lot of camping, biking, hiking, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. I always expect my students to come to class prepared, work hard, and never be afraid to make mistakes— you might discover something new!
Thank you for supporting your student's education! I am excited to work with your child and watch their growth. Together we can help your child achieve success!
