• Repeating Courses Information

    • There are two options for having grades changed/removed from student transcripts.
      1. If a student takes a required class and fails, they must retake the class for graduation purposes.  The class may be retaken in their schedule or as a credit recovery class offered in night school or summer school.  When the student successfully completes the required class AND meets with their counselor, the original failed grade can be removed from the student's transcript.
      2. If a student makes a plan to retake a class that they passed in order to receive a better grade, the first course grade AND credit can be removed.  When the student successfully completes the course retaken and meets with their counselor, the lower grade AND credit can be removed from the student's transcript.  With this option, students need to be aware of their total credits so they don't remove credit they will need to earn their diploma.
