    Intended Audience: Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 Credit:
    One trimester = 0.5 credit
    Major Outcomes:
    • Skill development: speed, accuracy, and technique
    • Develop business communication skills: composing and proofreading
    • Introduction to business documents
    • Keying documents for college and career [APA style reports, resumes, etc.]
    Projects, Activities, etc.: Create documents for a simulated business as an office assistant. Compose, create, and proofread documents such as letters, tables, reports, and flyers for a simulated business Instructional Focus: Hands-on computerized activities and keyboarding software Co-curricular Connection: BPA, DECA
