•  Frank B. Kellogg High School
I graduated from Frank B. Kellogg High School in Roseville, MN in 1982.  During my high school years, I lettered in swimming as well as Debate and Speech.  I also played violin in the high
school orchestra and for the musicals.
Ricks College  I went to Ricks College on a music scholarship for violin, and played with the Ricks College Orchestra.  I also traveled through Europe with the Ricks College Folk Dancers as a fiddle player in their band for two summers.  I graduated with an associates degree in 1984.
BYU  I transferred to Brigham Young University in 1984, and graduated with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Music in 1987.  While at BYU, I played violin with their Philharmonic Orchestra.
U of MN  While I was raising my 5 children and running a daycare out of my home, I completed my masters degree in Early Childhood Education.  I graduated in 2005, and made all 5 of my children watch their mom walk across the stage.  If I can do it, so can they!
SCSU  After going back to teaching and getting a job as a special education teacher, I realized that I really enjoyed it and decided that I wanted to get my special education license.  I took 5 more classes at St. Cloud State University and completed my special education licensure program in 2009.
