The Anoka-Hennepin School District will host a summer hiring event from 1-5 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, at the Educational Service Center located at 2727 N Ferry St. in Anoka.

Beginning June 23, 2025, families will need to create a new username and password to access student information, including grades, attendance, fees, class assignments for the upcoming school year.

Coon Rapids High School All-Class Reunion to be held July 2
The Coon Rapids High School (CRHS) All-Class Reunion will be held Wednesday, July 2 from 5-10 p.m. at the Coon Rapids Ice Center located at 11000 Crooked Lake Blvd. NW in Coon Rapids.

Congratulations to the 2025 Coon Rapids Community Scholarship Association (CRCSA) recipients. On Thursday, May 29, the CRCSA awarded scholarships to 229 seniors totaling over $290,000.
High school graduation rates continue to outperform state average
Anoka-Hennepin students continue to perform above the record-high state graduation average overall and in all but two of the 15 measured student groups.
Providing family choice: Specialty and magnet school options
Anoka-Hennepin offers 12 specialty and magnet schools at the elementary, middle and high school levels and are designed to provide families with additional choices at no cost.
Coon Rapids High School online ticketing for athletics and activities events
New this school year, Coon Rapids High School has partnered with GoFan for mobile ticketing for athletic events. Fans can purchase tickets online through their respective school’s GoFan page, the GoFan App or by presenting a card or mobile payment option at the ticket gate.

(06/04/2025) The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the SUN Bucks program. This income-based food support program provides families $120 per eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out for the summer.

(05/20/2025) Coon Rapids High School DECA returned from the International DECA Competition in Orlando Florida with two international finalists and many more accolades. This four-day competition was attended by 26,000 DECA members from 25 countries.

Anoka-Hennepin School Board seats up for election, filing period opens July 29
(07/14/2025) Three seats will be up for election November 4 – districts three, four and six. Community members living within those districts who are interested in serving on the board must file for election between July 29 and August 12 by 5 p.m. Members serve four-year terms.

Anoka-Hennepin students' talent shines in state bus safety poster contest
(07/01/2025) Eight Anoka-Hennepin students took first place, and one placed second in the 2025 Minnesota Bus Safety Poster Contest. All nine students have been invited to attend a Minnesota Twins game as guests of the Minnesota State Patrol to be recognized for their outstanding work.
