It's more than just free meals! Apply for educational benefits for the 2024-25 school year
(07/26/2024) All Anoka-Hennepin families are encouraged to apply for the educational benefits program for the 2024-25 school year. A new application must be submitted each school year. The enrollment window for the 2024-25 school year begins Aug. 1, 2024.

Adams Elementary takes learning outdoors through the Minnesota School Forest Program
(04/30/2024) Adams Elementary School in Coon Rapids was recently entered into the Minnesota School Forest Program through the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR). A School Forest is an outdoor classroom where teachers and students explore the natural world to teach core subjects.

Dental Health Month brings smiles to elementary schools across the district
(02/08/2024) First grade students at Adams Elementary School received a dental health kit and educational materials during a short presentation with Dr. Eileen Crespo, a practicing pediatrician and Vice President of Medical Services at Delta Dental on Feb. 5.

“Scientists and Engineers” wow audience at CRHS Capstone Senior Recognition Night
(06/02/2025) Having knowledge and ability to effectively communicate information was on display by Biomedical Sciences and Engineering students at Coon Rapids High School (CRHS) at a senior recognition and capstone presentation night held May 29.

District to participate in the Summer Food Service Program
(05/30/2025) The Anoka-Hennepin School District will participate in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) this summer. Meals will be provided to all children 18 and under at no cost.

Blaine High School CEMS program celebrate senior capstone projects
(05/292025) The event celebrated the ingenuity and problem-solving skills of approximately 112 graduating seniors from the class of 2025, forming 24 project teams.
