SUN Bucks program available for free/reduced-eligible students
(06/04/2025) The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the SUN Bucks program. This income-based food support program provides families $120 per eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out for the summer.

2025-26 Student Transportation proposal
(05/05/25) As part of an annual transportation review process in accordance with School Board policy, new non-transported areas are being proposed for the 2025-26 school year.

It's more than just free meals! Apply for educational benefits for the 2024-25 school year
(07/26/2024) All Anoka-Hennepin families are encouraged to apply for the educational benefits program for the 2024-25 school year. A new application must be submitted each school year. The enrollment window for the 2024-25 school year begins Aug. 1, 2024.

Six teams represent district and state at 2025 Destination Imagination Global Finals
(06/16/2025) Anoka-Hennepin sent six teams to the Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City, Mo., May 22-25 to compete against teams from all over the world.

School district operations to be held as planned Monday, June 16, 2025
(06/15/2025) Anoka-Hennepin Schools plans to hold academic and enrichment programming as planned tomorrow, Monday, June 16, 2025. This includes summer school, community education programming such as Adventures Plus school-age care and Community Schools, and high school activities and athletics.

Jefferson Elementary School unveils new school logo in end of year celebration
(06/12/2025) Jefferson Elementary School is now the home of the Tigers, after unveiling its new logo during an all-school assembly held on Thursday, June 5. The tiger logo includes a star on its left eye, a nod to the school's history and tradition, incorporating star and stripe elements from the past logo.

Sandburg Regional High School celebrates 65 graduates
(06/09/2025) Strong support from family and friends was on display as the 65 members of the Sandburg Regional High School (SRHS) class of 2025 received diplomas in a ceremony held at Anoka Technical College on Wednesday, June 4.
