Daily class schedule
Students participate in instruction, job training skills, obtaining employment and independent living activities which varies by student needs and schedule. Classes and activities led by school staff are held at Two Rivers Transition Program at Franklin, as well as in a variety of community locations. Community sites include work and volunteer experiences that are built into student schedules for a full trimester or year at a time.
Homeroom: 7:25 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Period 1: 8:00 a.m. - 8:57 a.m.
Period 2: 9:00 a.m. - 9:57 a.m.
Period 3: 10:00 a.m. - 10:57 a.m.
Period 4: 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
- First lunch: 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- Second lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- Third lunch: 12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Period 5: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Period 7: 12:30 p.m. - 1:27 p.m.
Homeroom/dismissal: 1:30 p.m. - 1:40 p.m.
Two Rivers Transition Program course descriptions
A student’s coursework at Two Rivers Transition Program includes the three transition areas of post-secondary education and training, independent living, and employment. Classes provide a variety of educational experiences to meet the needs and ability level of all students. Classes are selected based on the goals and objectives written in their Individualized Education Program (IEP) and input from the IEP team. Students may have the opportunity to participate in some elective coursework during the time they are enrolled at Two Rivers Transition Program.
Courses for the 2024-25 school year are being developed as Bridges and Pathways combine into one program - Two Rivers Transition Program at Franklin.
