    Unit 1 – Lines and Angles

    Unit 2 – Triangles

    Unit  3 – Similar Triangles

    I can identify similar figures and solve problems involving scale factors.      

             Write ratios and use properties of proportions.
             Find missing angle measures and side lengths given a ratio of sides.
             Use scale factor with similar figures including perimeter.

    I can prove triangles are similar using AA, SAS and SSS. (Corresponding parts of similar triangles and naming of triangles.)

     8.3 - 8.6 I can apply properties of similar triangles and logically justify results.

    I can recognize and use proportional relationships of angle bisectors, altitudes, and medians of any given triangle.

     

    Unit 4 – Quadrilaterals
