SUN Bucks program available for free/reduced-eligible students
(06/04/2025) The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the SUN Bucks program. This income-based food support program provides families $120 per eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out for the summer.

Champlin-Brooklyn Park Academy named Magnet Schools of America School of Excellence
(01/23/2025) Champlin Brooklyn Park Academy for Math and Environmental Science (CBPA) has been named a 2025 Magnet Schools of America (MSA) School of Excellence. Through an integrated curriculum, students at CBPA receive a unique learning experience emphasizing math and environmental science.

School Board amends 2025-26 school calendar
(09/03/2025) The staff development day originally scheduled for May 8, 2026 has now been moved forward by one week to Friday, May 1, 2026. The date change will be reflected in all future published calendars.

Varsity Football start times set for 7 p.m.
(09/03/2025) Varsity home football games will begin at 7 p.m. for the remainder of the 2025 football season following school board direction. This includes home games for all schools in Anoka-Hennepin: Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Champlin Park and Coon Rapids.

(08/27/2025) In Anoka-Hennepin Schools, the safety of students, staff, and families is the first priority. Anoka-Hennepin Schools uses a multi-layered approach to protect school safety and has everyday safety and security protocol measures in place that provide an organized, coordinated, and common-sense approach to working through emergencies we may encounter.
