SUN Bucks program available for free/reduced-eligible students
(06/04/2025) The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the SUN Bucks program. This income-based food support program provides families $120 per eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out for the summer.

It's more than just free meals! Apply for educational benefits for the 2024-25 school year
(07/26/2024) All Anoka-Hennepin families are encouraged to apply for the educational benefits program for the 2024-25 school year. A new application must be submitted each school year. The enrollment window for the 2024-25 school year begins Aug. 1, 2024.

Community partners provide free dictionaries to McKinley third grade students
(02/01/2024) Each year, the Anoka-Hennepin Educational Foundation (AHEF) along with community partners Anoka, Coon Rapids and the Blaine/Ham Lake Rotary Clubs, the Ramsey and Dayton Lions Clubs, and Connexus Energy, donate dictionaries to every third grade student in the district.

(06/04/2025) Anoka-Hennepin’s efforts to inform and engage students, staff and community members have been recognized as some of the nation’s best. The district’s communication and public relations team earned five awards from the National School Public Relations Association.

Blaine and Champlin Park high school seniors named College-sponsored National Merit Scholarship winners
(06/04/2025) Blaine High School senior Kieran Hobot and Champlin Park High School senior Elizabeth Mayor have earned College-sponsored National Merit Scholarships financed by U.S. colleges and universities, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC®) announced June 4.
