Meet Mrs. Woolsey

Hello! My name is Sara Woolsey. I have been teaching math in Anoka-Hennepin since 2006. I spent the first 13 years of my career at Northdale Middle School. In 2019, I moved to Oak View Middle School. This has been a fun change for me as I was a student at Oak View during my middle school years. Throughout my years teaching in Anoka-Hennepin, I have worked with students in grades 6 through grade 8 in a variety of classes. The majority of my experience has been teaching PreAlgebra to Grade 6 students. 

I attended Anoka-Hennepin from Kindergarten until I graduated from Anoka High School. I have lived in Andover since the age of 12. My husband Greg and I enjoy raising our two boys Lincoln and Dylan- they sure do keep us on our toes. I enjoy spending time outdoors, as well as, fishing and hunting. Photography is one of my favorite hobbies- just ask my children- they have the perfect "cheese" smiles! My favorite candy is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a Middle School Math Emphasis- St. Cloud State University, 2006

Master's degree in Educational Technology- Concordia- St. Paul, 2013
