    Fundraising is an important part of the Mississippi community because it provides the means for our school to receive additional support that would not otherwise be available.

    We have great school spirit here at Mississippi! Watch for clothing order forms to get your own T-shirt or sweatshirt to proudly display your Mississippi spirit!
     

    Mississippi Walk-a-Thon for Technology

    This annual fundraiser is a highly anticipated event at Mississippi! All students and staff walk the school grounds, wearing grade-level colors and proudly displaying classroom banners. Students raise money ahead of time, using collection envelopes received in Thursday folders. All money raised in the Walk-a-Thon goes toward technology purchases for our school! Money has been used for laptops, Promethean boards, slates to use with the boards, Chromebooks, and more!

    Box Tops for Education

    Box Tops for Education is a very easy way to earn money for our school that adds up fast! Just clip Box Tops from participating products and bring them into school on monthly Box Tops Collection Days, or drop them in the large collection box in the Link at anytime. The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) sends home a Box Tops collection sheet each month in Thursday folders, where collected Box Tops can be easily attached. Another way to earn money is by earning eBoxTops when you shop online. 
     
    To learn more about eBoxTops or anything about the program or participating products, visit the Box Tops for Education website. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents, so they add up quickly. In the last few years, we have earned about $3,000-$3,800 annually through our Box Tops collections! That's about 30,000-38,000 clipped Box Tops each year. Way to go, Mississippi community!

    Food Perspectives

    Food Perspectives is a unique and enjoyable way to help raise funds for Mississippi. The Food Perspectives Inc. company collects feedback and opinions for local, national, and international food companies. They gather the feedback from consumers through taste tests, focus groups, phone surveys, and more. Each tester is paid for their time, and has the option of donating a portion of their payment to a nonprofit organization. You can sign up to be a taste tester, and designate Mississippi as the nonprofit benefitting from your time and money earned.
